Systematic reviewing is a core evidence-based medicine skill for paediatric trainees — it's named explicitly in the RCPCH Progress+ curriculum (Domain 11, evidence-based practice) — and is one of the most accessible ways into research if you're new to it, including if you're an IMG building a UK research portfolio.
